Following the steps of Holden's unveiling of the first engineering prototypes of the Pontiac G8, Chevrolet unveiled the Omega for the Brazilian market. Underneath the bow-tie badge is a Holden VE Commodore Berlina. Its predecessor ceased production in 1999, and was based on the Opel Omega (Cadillac Catera in US).
The Omega CD is powered by a 3.6L Alloytec V6 producing 250HP (190kW). The RWD Omega won't be available with the V8, which will find a spot under the hood of the Pontiac G8. Follow the jump to view more images of the Omega.
