Last week, we brought you the list of nominees for TheCarBlogger's Car of the Year award. Ten cars were chosen as the nominees for this 'prestigious' award. Three finalists are chosen from the list and from there, one car excels the other two and becomes TCB's COTY. Here are the ten nominees that were chosen:

• Hyundai Entourage
• Jaguar XK
• Nissan Versa
• Saturn Aura
• Volkswagen Rabbit/GTI
• Honda Fit
• Kia Optima (Magentis)
• Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W221)
• Porsche Cayman
• Toyota Camry

Here are the three finalists for TheCarBlogger's COTY:

• Kia Optima (Magentis)
• Saturn Aura
• Volkswagen Rabbit/GTI

All three cars excelled the others following TheCarBlogger COTY's four crucial criterias: style, quality, value, and significance. TheCarBlogger's Car of the Year will be announced on February 1st, 2007. Until then, stay tuned.

TCB's Car of the Year Nominees

It is that time of the year again. It is the first for TheCarBlogger. TheCarBlogger has chosen ten nominees for Car of the Year 2007. The cars chosen passed all four criterias needed to pass: style, quality, value, and significance.

The North American Car and Truck of the Year was the Saturn Aura and the Chevrolet Silverado, both new offerings from GM. The nominees chosen for TCB's COTY has to be a model-year 2007 model. The nominees are:

• Saturn Aura
• Volkswagen Rabbit
• Honda Fit
• Kia Optima (Magentis)

The top three finalists will be announced on January 26th, 2007. TheCarBlogger's Car of the Year will be announced on February 1st, 2007.
